Richard enjoys the variety of work Compass provides and the people – both the team and clients. Getting out on farm to meet with clients to understand their business needs, add value and help them to succeed in their business goals is key for Richard. Making the move to Compass was the perfect fit for Richard where he brings his people and relationship skills together with his credentials in financial analysis and farming background.
Richard attended the University of Otago to study a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in accounting and marketing management. He stayed on in Dunedin working as an accountant for four years, completing his Chartered Accountant qualification and becoming a senior accountant.
