Ellen Kirkwood
Business Consultant
Ellen was born and bred on a small sheep and beef farm in Te Anau. After completing her schooling in Dunedin, she went on to study for a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in accounting at Otago University.
After graduating, Ellen worked for a Dunedin accounting firm, gaining her chartered accountant qualification. Through dealing with clients mainly in the rural sector, Ellen developed a great appreciation and understanding of agribusiness over a six-year period.
After joining Compass in March 2021, Ellen enjoys a vast range of work, where she appreciates utilising the skills and knowledge gained working in accountancy within a knowledgeable and supportive team.
